Mission
Massively reduce the cost of large infrastructure in space to accelerate humanity’s expansion to the stars.
Why Flotilla
As launch costs drop, volume becomes the bottleneck. We can build bigger doors, but bigger payload bays are much harder, and bigger rockets even harder. Simple, reliable in-space construction unlocks larger structures than any fairing can carry, increasing mass efficiency and lowering total system cost. Flotilla is building fleets of satellites that can construct larger than launch vehicle structures and create a new cost floor for in-space operations.
The 3-step plan
- Build high-reliability tug satellites.
- Use tugs to construct an orbital spiral pipe mill and mature in-space welding.
- Deploy the first fleet of massive fuel depots, selling delta-V on demand and last-km/s tug services at the lowest possible cost.
Where we are now
Still in my garage, building early tug hardware and testbeds. We’re raising a pre-seed round via a YC SAFE in the next couple of weeks.
